The holding arm of the Group, Freight Management Holdings Bhd, was first listed on the Second Board of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (Bursa Malaysia) in Feb 2005 and was successfully transferred to the Main Board in Dec 2007, making it one of the first Malaysian-owned freight service company to be listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia.

Incorporated in 1988, Freight Management is a wholly Malaysian owned international freight service provider. Its holding arm, Freight Management Holdings Bhd was listed on Bursa Malaysia Second Board (formerly KLSE) on 3 February 2005, and successfully transferred to the Main Board on 19th Dec 2007.

In 1999, Freight Management pioneered containerised rail freight services between Malaysia and Thailand , taking advantage of rising trade movement with the advent of AFTA (Asean Free Trade Area).

Today, FMHB offers complete multimodal international freight services covering sea, rail, air freight and tuge barge services, customs brokerage and distribution container haulage and conventional trucking services.

The Freight Management Group has offices located in Port Klang, KLIA, Penang, Ipoh, Malacca and Johor to cover all the important maritime and air gateways of Malaysia.

The Leading International LCL and FCL Freight Services Provider

As a seafreight specialist, the Group offers both export and import freight services for both LCL and FCL shipments. It offers direct LCL consolidation to over 40 major ports of the world. It also offers LCL consolidation to the major ports of Sabah & Sarawak. Its FCL services covers all the major port of the world.

Through a network of 107 reliable agents covering 127 ports, the Group is able to offer quality and dependable services to its customers to meet their logistic needs. The range of seafreight services include port to port, port to door, and door to door deliveries.

The Leading International AirFreight Services Provider

The Group handles both inbound and outbound shipments through Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and Penang International Airport. It operates warehouses leased from Malaysian Airline, within the FCZ (Free Commercial Zone) in both KLIA and Penang International (Bayan Lepas) Airport.

The Group is also part of an established worldwide network of airfreight agents with representation in all the major airports in the world. Backed by more than 20 years of experience, the Group is equipped to handle all types of airfreight shipments. These include high value and sensitive shipments (e.g. electronic parts, pharmaceuticals, apparels), DG (Hazardous) and perishable shipments.

The Leading International Containerized Rail Freight Services Provider

The Group is one of the pioneers in operating the fully containerized landbridge rail services between Malaysia and Thailand. The fully chartered train service commenced in 1999, with one run per week.
